The “Symposium on Heritage in the Digital Age” is a three-day conference held from April 25–27, 2025, that brings together leading and young scholars, practitioners, and industry experts to explore the digital transformation of cultural heritage. The program features a range of formats—including keynote speeches, panels, workshops, roundtables and fieldtrips—covering topics such as digital curation and archiving, AI-assisted imaging, and computational innovations in cultural heritage conservation.
Participants discuss methods for digitizing historical archives, preserving and revitalizing cultural narratives through digital tools, and integrating emerging technologies like augmented reality, virtual reality, and gaming to create immersive experiences. The conference also addresses architectural heritage, showcasing innovative projects that reimagine historical spaces through digital modeling and interactive narratives. The symposium offers a multidisciplinary platform to exchange ideas on how digital tools can both conserve the past and inspire new forms of expressions.
